Community Partnerships - Special Events

The local Community Rail Partnerships run a series of special events throughout the year supported by Greater Anglia. These events are themed so they provide fun family entertainment and activities on board one or more of our services at a very reasonable price.

When events are available for booking they will be appear below. Click on any of the available events for more information and to book tickets.

How do I get my tickets?

Tickets for these events are Ticket Machine/ Office collection ONLY. Please select Ticket Machine/ Office Collection at the Delivery Options page.

You will be sent your ticket collection reference prior to the event via email. Please check both your inbox and your Spam folder as some email providers mistake emails from a shared email address as Spam.

Tickets have to be collected at the local ticket office or ticket machine. You can use either:

Ticket Machine Pickup

Select the option on the machine to pick up the pre-booked tickets and enter your  collection reference when asked. You may be required to insert your debit or credit card that you paid for your booking with to verify your identity. Your card will NOT be charged.

Staffed Ticket Office

Ask the member of staff in the ticket office if you can pick up your tickets with the collection reference you have been sent. You may have to insert a debit or credit card into the machine to verify your identity.

All of our events are available to book a place. Events bookings are closed 2 days prior to the event date.

Dementia Friendly Event 

Essex and South Suffolk CRP in partnership with Greater Anglia and Braintree District Council are running a Dementia Friendly Train on the 21st June. Tickets for this event are allocated directly from their website  events page and will become available on 1st May.
